I bought this guy as an 04 baby from, told he was a very pure BCI. However, a friend of mine has brought this into question because of his saddle peaks. His saddle count from head to vent is 21. Anyone have an opinion?
guys, another factor he didnt mention, this boa is only about 4.5ft. it seems quite small to me. i know he has been properly fed..etc etc etc. seeems small for what looked to me to be a guyanan redtail.
those dark shade between the saddles and freckles...plus the saddles want to peak so badly......i'll take it!!! as good as any bcc/bci out there IMO,...PAPA LIKE!:lol2::lol2:
Def BCC, don't know about Guyanan though as i have one and it has much more grey colouration on the main body rather than the light brown of that baby.
Thanks for that guys, guess you were right Alex lol. I was assured by the guy I bought it from that he was BCI, but I guess not. I'm actually pretty chuffed to have a BCC
i wouldn't care if it was a whatever.....it's 100% fine boa flesh......i'll p.m. you my address!!!:lol2:....just send it here so i can study it a little closer............then i'll be able for certain to tell you what it is!!......................
It does look B.C.C. but I would be cautious of breeding it without knowing its exact background because you don't know if its a cross and it is an awful shame to mix the genes of the two subtypes unknowingly or without informing and owners of the potential babies.
