Default Snake Green poo

I have noticed that my snake pooped a small amount of a very dark green bit of mucus, she did not eat for a little while as she was in blue, but im not sure what this is. Is it normal if she hasnt eaten for her to pass that green stuff out when she passes Urates. She did it before in the past a coulple of times and its like half the size of a pea so not much and she has neevr had trouble before...???

I'd get her to a vet. This is usually a sign of internal infection. If treated early she'll recover.

Sometimes you will get green or blue colour on or in with the urates. This I believe is a natural bacteria that is within the gut of snakes and as long as they are healthy it does not present a problem.

Also you sometimes get a dark green slime (jelly) type poo with the urates when your snake has not eaten for a while. This is what I believe to be the poo when they have been living off of fat reserves as opposed to digested prey.

Thanks Carla thanks Morelia,

she has recently gotten over a very nasty infection where she was pooping blood and was on antibiotic injections for nearly 2 months....she seemed to be doing fine again and seemed fully recovered..... no blood now ...just this....

Perhaps she's not quite gotten rid of the infection? Or it could be that this is the last of it.

This isnt an infection.

Afew of my boas sometimes pass greenish urates, I believe it maybe slight dehydration.

I've never seen it with any of mine.

A faecal sample would tell you for sure.

Default This was in my Boas poo!

My 4 month old boa hasnt pood since I bought her 5 weeks ago, but came home from work to find out she had. Once cleaning her out, this was mixed in with her stool. It was poop like texture...just kinda green/white

Any idea?
