Default Possible Jungle Boa?

Hi, firstly well done on an amazing forum really impressed so far!
I have just picked up my first snake at the weekend which is a possible jungle boa?
Now being a complete noob and picking the most friendly baby I just wondered if there was any way of telling the difference?

Here are some pics of her:

I think I've done that right?

Thanks

What was the parents?

How old is it?

Personally to menin does not look like a jungle but no one can ever be 100% when it comes to pics. Hopefully I'm wrong for you but it's a cracking little boa!

It's not a Jungle in my opinion but is a very nice Boa regardless.

i'm going to go with no, but if you bought it as a possible jungle then that's what it is; possibly a jungle.

I am going to say it's not a jungle boa.

The jungle gene is an incomplete dominant genetic trait. Not all aberrant (not normal in terms of saddle pattern) boas are jungle and not all jungle's are aberrant. Jungle can be a very tricky mutation. First and foremost for a boa to be called a jungle it has to be descended from the original Swedish line of Jungle. The main thing to look for in a jungle is colour. They tend to be a very classic gold colour as adults. Floating saddles and missing saddle points are another. A colour difference from the side colour to the back colour. Sharp colour and contrast. A lot of jungles have holes or bubbles in the saddles and broken head spears. It is not easy to explain. You really just have to keep looking at them and you will start to be able to pick up a difference.
