Looks underweight.

Id say its definitely a CB12. Snakes are hard to age.

Looks underweight?
What should I do?

Just got her today guy in the shop said feed her on tuesday..
And thank you yes it was a choice between her or a jag carpet python, but it was very nippy so i went with this beauty.
Thanks

Id say its only slightly under, due to how much you can see its spine showing.
Just feed it on the right size rats weekly and it will gain the weight in no time

Very pretty snake does look a bit under weight, may have been a slow starter? I'd just feed as advised, if you go rushing to feed her sooner and get some weight on her it might stress her out and stop her feeding. Would just leave her be until the feed.

Was it sold as a ghost morph? Because it looks like a normal to me...
As said, looks pretty young, and could do with a few good meals.
What food was the shop feeding her?
GM123, AilsaM, miked19 and 2 others like this.

Oki doki, i'll wait till tuesday, I've just looked at her from my perspective i think the picture may have been a little misleading, looking at her now i cant really see her spine and she feels fairly healthy, but obviously i dont know so much so..

Shes really pretty and the guy said shes fed reliably every week from youngster, so fingers crossed.

I was told it was a ghost morph yes, the reptile shop is fairly reputable in the area but again my experience is very limited.

I wouldn't say underweight, looks like a right youngster, if it were hatched late in the season the overpronounced spine could just be lack of muscle development (which it'll fix)

If it feeds well just make sure its putting on some weight and you'll be fine, its a nice animal mate. Oh, and welcome to the hobby.
