Looks like a long jawed orb weaver.

Thanks for that, I thought it was some kind of orb weaver is that native to UK, or just came in with pots

Safe or dangerous would be my first thought !!

Oddly enough , yesterday morning I noticed a little spider over my head ( in bed) .. it was only very small , like one of those petit pois peas BUT it was a kinda orangey red colour ..
I tried moving the strand of web gently but the spider simply disappeared into thin air ..

I thought it was an orb Web and Im sure they not dangerous that's why I didn't ask that first

A lot of our spiders do look like they could be from the Brazilian rainforest. Sadly that can count against them as many are obsessed they've got a "deadly" foreign spider on their hands that has come in by accident to lay eggs in their ears so it's killed.

I was watching springwatch last night
they was saying if you take a photo of criter
there is a site linked to springwatch where you can ask them what it is
just google springwatch and it should come up
or go to bbc iplayer and look at last nights show
