Default Argiope bruennichi (wasp spider)

we went wasp spider hunting today and took some pics.



HUGE female



shot showing the much smaller male



and a cinnabar moth caterpillar too

yea, took a while before I spotted one, we were looking too high up in the grass but they tend to be quite near the ground. In the end we saw about 20.
