I'm delighted to have been successful in my search for a jumping spider (although my god do Polyped charge a premium - 20 Euros equals 20 Pounds? Hmm...) But anyway, I came home with a female Hyllus Giganteus. I've transferred her to a lovely new terrarium since taking this photo, though she's made no move from her sanctuary on the roof to investigate it yet.

I treated myself to one of these beauties whilst there too!! Couldn't resist that cute face.

And like yours mine hasn't move from the lid of its new enclosure.

It was a brilliant day, spent most of it on my stall but I did get this little beauty at the last minute from the Bugfest table.

Good to know it's not just mine! I'm wondering they've been kept in those plain plastic tubs since they were born and simply aren't used to anything else. I've popped a few flies in there to try and tempt her down.

I got home from work to find mine happily munching on the cricket I put in for her, but still up by the lid!! Lol
Hopefully they'll venture out a bit more in a few days.

Hope yours eats soon as well for you

That's good! I got fruit flies for mine, but she hasn't shown much interest. Maybe I should pick up some crickets instead.
