Exclamation Who to get it from?

I'm looking to get some more T's for my good lady 'ball & chain' hopefully by christmas but noticed The Spider Shop now automatically adds £8.99 to your order for 'livestock' transport.
Not paying that especially when to 2 T's I want only cost £6 for both.

Does anyone recommend anywhere else worth trying?

Thanx in advance.

All suppliers will be charging that amount of money for shipping in this weather. The extra cost is for heat pack etc.

It's definitely worth the postage, after all they're living things and need to be safe and comfortable.
With the Spider Shop you're guaranteed of getting great tarantulas for your wife, too (I need to have a word with my husband about Christmas lol ).

TSS are very good- they deliver on time, & the packaging is next to none. & they sex their t's whenever possible. Also the site is always up to date- what's on there is what they've got, unlike some others who don't update their stock for months. I recently bought a sub-adult female Peruvian stripe-kneed birdeater (Lasiodorides striata) from them- the real McCoy, not the usual Thrixopelma spp that get passed off as L.striata. & she arrived on time in tip-top condition.

That is about the average carriage for a guaranteed signed for delivery with heat pads.

Dont forget that the box, labels, spider transport tub, packing materials, heat pack etc etc PLUS the actual postage (£7.15 ? ) ALL costs money (and then add staff time to pack spiders, travel to PO etc)

You could also get something else in addition thus making the items cost more than the carriage.
