Default Trying To Buy A Female Mexican Red Knee

Hi guys

I'm trying to buy my first female mexican red knee but im struggling to find one.

Everywhere I call say the ones they have are too small to know what sex they are.

I've even resulted to looking at places online like spider shop but they all say unsexed.

I'm guessing it's because these are really slow growers and the breeders want to sell them as quickly as possible.

Any tips on finding one ?

Check the Latin species name and look in Classifieds on here. There is a female one for sale, but of course you need to check it is what you are looking for

That looks a LOT of fun, but unfortunately it's too far for me.

Email the online places & ask them if they can sex any. Sometimes you get lucky if they have large juvs or sub adults, when some have moulted & can be sexed. Mexican red knees are not particularly slow growers, btw.
