For a sling? I'm afraid not. For a sling you want something miles smaller. Say if your sling has a 3cm leg span you want something about 3 or 4 inches square maximum. Also you want about 2/3 of the substrate to be dry.

That's massive for an adult Brachypelma hamorii.

Yes that is the size this tank I got of a friend as the spider is a juvenile as this is all he had

Well you need to put your tarantula into something miles smaller. A fully grown female Brachypelma hamorii would be lost in an enclosure that size.
