Default Locusts breeding tips

Hi all!

I have recently decided to start breeding my own locusts, I have been growing then on for a few weeks now to get the feel of keeping them.

they are now sub adult and soon will be ready to breed, I am still unsure of exactly what sand to use for the egg laying bin, would regular play sand be ok to use ?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated as I am a beginner to insect breeding.

Thanks
