Default 7 legs!

Our little mexican blood leg has just emerged from maulting with only 7 legs!! Will he be ok?

Thank god, I get quizzed enough about the three legged border collie, would be awful then explaining how another animal lost a leg lol. All gesting aside, phew, I was starting to panic.

One of my little T's came to me with 7 legs. In his next moult, he regrew it but it was a bit shorter and thinnner than the rest. After a couple of weeks he dropped the leg and went back to 7. After his next moult then it grew back again, and he kept it. It's nearly the same as the rest now. You won't even notice, as it will be back the same as the other legs after a couple of moults

Just check there is no fluid coming from the 'stump' and if there isn't then it should be fine and will start to re-grow it with each moult.
