Default do spiders over here bite???

odd question but do spiders in the uk bite? ive just felt a pain on my hand and when i looked this little spider scruried away, i have 2 like little pin pricks on my hand, i swear it bit me!!! and it bloody hurts lol

they all *can* bite, but most of the ones over here don't bite very readily, or don't have big enough fangs to pierce human skin.

probably just paranoid because i have a real fear of spiders, cant even look at pics of them on the net lol but i never realised they all bite

Woodlouse spiders, lace webbed spiders (UKs version of funnlewebs) and a few others can bit and inflict pain,

Its either 8 species or 14 Brittish species (i forget lol ) which can bite through human skin i think. The others can't (which i think is like 800 species). Correct me if i'm wrong please lol

They can all bite.......maybe not through human skin

the common garden spider and walnut orb weaver deliver bites that can bother you a bit I think. only ones i knoe besids he woodlouse spider
