Yep i have some sphagnum moss in a corner for all my slings so they can get a drink but my pulchra has buried it and bulldozed half its tub so it has half with sub and half with no sub just the leaves, it does sit out in plain view all day unless i open the lid and then it darts under them.

It is by far my favourite sling its always out in plain view and a fierce feeder - got to the point where i have to resist feeding it all the time so it dont end up with a butt like mine!

nah - theyre never gonna get soaked your chiles never gona see a spray in entire puff! seriously my terrestrials love them -

i would also recommend dry magnolia leaves because i put a couple in my my pulcheripes and it webbed it placed it on the top of its hide - tried with my regalis- and it attached them to its webbing - they literally go apesh*t for them ^_^ - ive now used them in all of my t enclosures and the same story

I think it is aquarium gravel maybe.

I don't bother with a water dish for tiny slings. I just spray a few drops of water on the side of the tub but I think most of their fluid intake comes from their food.

Yeah i have some tropical fish, didn't use all the gravel so for drowning risks and just things to move/walk over i added some, makes it look a little different imo

thanks all

If the slings are 1st or 2nd instar I would do away with the hide. They will dig and make their own. In my opinion too much crap in a sling enclosure is bad news. That is also a pretty big pot for a 1st/2nd instar. I like to use the small 1 oz deli pots until they get a bit bigger, that way you can see whats going on a bit better.
