Hello! i finally received my russian tortoise today and he is super cute and looks healthy, he seems very active and has already eaten some greens!

Looks good, but i'd remove the aspen and go with a soil

Agree, he has a lot of new growth too. To prevent pyramiding and other deformities I would weigh him and keep new weight gain to no more than 3 grams a month at this age. Russians are geared to eat all they can find due to them only eating for 3-4 months a year in the wild

What a cute tort, but that bedding is not good for torts, its too dry and could be eaten causing a blockage.
