Hey, I just bought a (horribly overpriced) piece of cork bark for my royals RUB and it has quite a few ants on it! I wouldn't of thought this would cause any problems? But it's better to be safe than sorry, so any advice would be appreciated!: victory:
Whats the best way to strip the bark of some branches in order to be varnished and used in a viv?
I dont have any specialist tools, just ordinary DIY tool box, does soaking in water help?

im going to start usuing eco earth/ forest floor and bark mixed together as substrate, im going to buy a bag of bark from wickes/b and q thats around £5. i know this isn't reptile bark but im pretty sure non of the wood used is harmful to reptiles so is there any reason this would be a bad idea?

hi i have a 11 month old water dragon and in his viv i have some bark and my partner caught him with a large piece in his mouth! will it cause impaction if swallowed and it does say on the package that its safe for lizards snakes and amphibians! should i remove the bark asap please help !!
I bought wipeout 2 to clean cage furnishings.
Instructions say to
*Saturate the surface of the items by spraying on WIPE OUT 2 and let them stand for 5 minutes. Then wipe items dry.

Only thing is the item in question is a bark hide.
