Hi just got my first boas male salmon hypo and female motley now I've looked for a genetic calculator but can't find one so could any one suggest what they would produce. Ps this will be at lest 2 years off
Im new to all the genetics etc... but im picking up a dwarf pastel female 66% het kahl boa from donny in june...
What is 66% het kahl.... sorry if this is a obvious question.
Also what male would create some great hatchlings if added to this female?
I have been learning about boa genetics and come across information suggesting you should not breed visual albino to visual lbino as this can cause deformaties.
Is this actually true? Or is it an inbreeding issue (as in putting offspring back to parents)?
I have a sunglow 66% het anery I...
i have a albino motley boa and am looking for another morph, however when it comes down to genetics and both snakes being co-dom it looses me:bash:. can anyone tell the outcome of; albino motley x sunglow
or albino motley x salmon. want to produce sunglow motleys if poss.
or can anyone suggest...
if I have
a) Salmon/hypo (poss. super) low expression jungle 66% het Kahl
potential outcomes could be:
1-if there are no normals (hypos/sunglows/albinos + some jungle markings)
*reasonably confirmed super salmon jungle
*confirmed 66% het is in fact 100% het for kahl...
Ok so I'm getting confused with all this!!!
So is an Avalanche Boa one that is Arabesque, Anery and Albino? (Snow Boa with the Arabesque pattern)
Is a Blizzard Boa one that is Anery type II and Albino? (effectively a Snow but using type II for less/no yellow pigmentation so almost Leucistic)...
I have a Male Kahl strain albino boa Genetic part stripe for sale. He was born on the 23-4-09. Eats rat fluffs and is a very healthy snake. £600 please check my website for photos of this little beauty !!!!
Here's J'n'B-Boa's Care Sheet.
You can also find information on BCI morphs simple genetics and parent charts, I'm also working on putting up information about the different BCI localities. Hope you find it useful : J'n'B Boas - Information
