My girlfriend was going to refill the water bowl in my royal pythons viv. I’ve been away for a few weeks and I’m guessing she hasn’t been paying as much attention as I normally do. She found the bugs in the empty water bowl and sent me a video to show me. I don’t run a bioactive viv so there...

Hey , saw some random tv show where a reptile business had frozen bugs in his freezer. Is this ok to do ? I mean we do it for snakes. Us etc . Seen there are places that sell them,. But even if could buy healthy tubs of crickets, fresh , then freeze . would make them last rather than go all...

Is it cruel to freeze insects alive? I got crickets and dubia roaches for my hedgehogs but sometimes the insect escapes from their mouth when eating! This also may sound stupid but if I freeze them and thaw them out later will they come back to life?

I'm a first time Salamander owner, I have a black spotted sal. My question is: I found some Thrips in my aquarium, from the top soil I'm using that I mixed with some Coconut fiber substrate. I moved him out of the aquarium for now until I figure out what's up with it. I don't think he's eaten...

Hiya. So yesterday I noticed movement on a vine in my cresties tank that upon closer inspection was a really small bug. I did some research about the possibilities and from what I can tell they seem to be black springtails but I would like second opinions. This morning I collected these that...

So recently I've noticed really tiny slim black bugs in my leopard gecko cage. Usually I see them around his water bowl (sometimes drowned in the water) or in his moist hide. I don't think they are harming my gecko, as there are no signs of it but I would like to make sure these aren't harmful...

Hi guys, I'm Stiles and I live in Wales, UK. We've had reptiles for quite a long time now but I figured I'd pop along and join you lot on here so I can ramble to someone other than family/friends/work colleagues about my squad. I'm hoping to acquire a Blue Tongue Skink and a Giant Madagascan...
