I had her checked by a supposedly very experienced reptile owner and it was concluded that she was a male, so I've been treating her as...

I am very confused and distressed about my black ratsnake(elaphe obsoleta) eggs! The female laid them around 2 weeks ago, and slowly they are all starting to be covered in reddish dark blotches all over them! They used to be all nice and even cream/white in color when fresh. I am not a...

So my bloodred corn layed her first clutch since I've had her and although there are some obvious slugs, two of the eggs don't fit into the normal yellow and hard category. I got her when she was two and have no idea if she has been bred before? I have no idea what to do?!

Hi everyone, I've been wondering about the potential of captive tarantulas in the UK ending up becoming quite in-bred. I'm curious to know what others think? It strikes me that if a lot of species are being passed around then surely this could be quite likely unless stringent records of...

A little backstory so I don't get flamed. Skip to the emoticon if you don't care. I found this forum on google when I typed in "lizard care advice." So about 3 weeks ago my dog was running around in the back yard after a rain storm and decided to give me fence lizard she found as a 'gift'...
