My MM B. Albopilosum has just matured - he's a beautiful spider - and I'd like to give him to someone who has a female that they want to breed.

All doing well, feeding and shedding ect, no problems noted, a hardy species and good for beginners these are an interesting species to watch and grow at a good rate, with regular feeding...
I purchased my first ever tarantula on saturday which is a curly hair which is a spiderling right now and living in a cricket keeper. But the pet store told me they needed a heat mat but from various sources say its bad for them and not needed.

I'm pretty sure its just premoult, but it's the fact its underneath his abdomen and has a red spot on it that's throwing me off, is this just him getting close to moult or something more sinister? He isn't eating either, there was a locust in overnight, maybe it somehow bit him?
