Hello! I am looking for a good beginner reptile. I have a few criteria though:
1. It has to be a beginner reptile (I know that there really isn't a "beginner" reptile but you know what I mean)
2. Can tolerate over 50% humidity (where I live, it is usually this humid according to my hydrometer)...

No need to put into soil just add to your arid setup

In its dried, dead like state it is already a great feature for a desert set up for vivariums & terrariums.

i got sold a vivarium for my tortoise by a pet shop,
and then after some research found out vivs are no good for torts,
so now i have an empty 4 ft by 2 ft viv,
and im probably going to sell it,
but i was just curious if there were any easy to look after lizards that i could provide a new...
i have been trying to do it by the tub they come in, but they sometimes escape and i hate them! so are there any easy ways to feed them, like any tubs that are quite long and have a flap or something on and
it is easy to transfer the crickets from the box they come in to this tub? thanks!:2thumb:
Just thought i would post a quick photo of how i house my african fat tailed geckos, i have four similar vivs but this is my current fave :) I just made this out of card selotape and good old baking paper stuck down with watered down pva, simples :2thumb:
Ehm, as the title says. "May sound weird but".. I want... to breed something. :S
Aparently the satisfaction of breed is wicked and is very fun. PLUS i love most animals. (cant deal with spiders.)

brother has an exo terra viv 30, 30, 45cm in dimensions and he isnt sure what to get any ideas what would be good.
- thinks of a lizard mainly but snakes are possible idea
- has to be able to handle eaily
- simple to sare for is best cause is his first reptile although isnt completly new to them...
