Just to add, there is a type of firefly in Ecuador that has three glowing points, on on the tail, and two globes on the "shoulders".
Edit, googling around it is not a firefly but a click beetle...
Does anyone keep Ecuadorian BCI? I've only ever seen them on JnB's and Hermann Stockl's websites, never seen anyone comment on them or have any available for sale on forums/shows etc..... Has anyone ever seen any? Or know of breeders etc.?
For the first time this li'l darlin' attacked it's food while it's been fed . Don't know whether it's because it was a cricket instead of the usual roach or because it's its first feed since shedding .
I like the purple but I miss the black with white markings but at least it's got past that in...
