I have only ever owned 1 orchid mantis previous to my current collection. Unfortunately the little fella mismolted.
About 6 months ago I bought a bunch of new mantids to get back into the hobby. I researched different species and ended up with:
Phyllocrania paradoxa x6...
She has been adult for 1-2 months.
She was living with a male and another female up until about a week ago and has laid a few ootheca.
The ootheca haven't been incubated long enough to know if she mated or not but I see a successful mating with the other female.
Her wings are a bit scruffy but...
I have too many Phyllocrania paradoxa females, most are subadult (one moult left before they are adult), whilst a few are one or two instars younger.
£6 for the younger ones, £8 for the subadults.
Postage is only Special Delivery (guaranteed next day) because of the cold weather, so is £6...
As above. I got her at the Kempton show, and for the first month or so she was great - active and eating like a tiny pig. Then her appetite started to go off a bit; I offered her a couple of flies about a week ago, and she had one and ignored the other, which I removed so it didn't bug her...

I have a trio of Ghost Mantids for sale.
They are large nymphs, around L6/L7, a couple of moults from adult. There is 1 female and 2 males, which is the perfect ratio if you're looking to breed.
Only selling as a trio, for £20 posted (or £17 if you pick up).
If interested or have any...
My mum hates pretty muh all of my creepy crawlies and reptiles, except for the mantis. She says i can get more of em if i want. Are there any species u would reccomend. Have kept: Ghost Mantis, Green Congo Mantis?
It's fallen during a moult. Laying on the floor all bent up. It's a shame as it's a female and she's bright green! Was looking forward to her turning adult.
However, it is still alive and somehow managed to free itself from the moult. I carefully picked it up and hung it upside down where it's...

I haven't posted on here in a while and a couple weeks back I took some more photo's of my mantids. They came out surprisingly well not HD or anything but better than I expected, So I thought I would share them :D.
