Would this be okay for gutloading insects to be fed to a leopard gecko? Initially I would have thought so, but then the picture of the cham on the tub threw me off  Also, I understand it comes in a powder form and from what I've seen it doesn't have to be mixed with water and microwaved...

Any good? Simple answers please, and let's not start a debate ;) I plan to feed it to crickets and locusts alongside the usual veg, etc. I feed. Let me know if you have better suggestions.

Just trying to find some new stuff to gut load my cricks with and have some can can (no idea what this is I might even be typing it wrong), red butterhead multileaf, red multileaf, and lambs lettuce in the fridge, was wondering if any of these are a no-no? Also have the usual stuff like carrots...

Is it necessary? If so, do I just treat them in the same manner as I would mealworms? I'll be feeding them to a leopard gecko. And what about dusting? I use Repashy Calcium Plus for my mealworms and crickets.

I have a Flame Crested Gecko. I alternate the food between Crickets (Mon,Wed,Fri) and Repashy's Crested Gecko Meal Replacement Powder (Tue, Thur, Sat,Sun). I keep the crickets in an old fish tank. I keep a small ammount of Hydro gel in there 24/7, replacing the leftovers every 24 hours...

Who uses them? I've been looking at the bug burger and the hydro-load but can't make my mind up. Do they have to be used together? or can either of them be used as an all-round gutload? (I'm talking moisture as well as food for crickets) Until now I've been using some zoo-med cricket food and...

Hi, i all ready give my crickets and mealworms carrot, potato, greens and dried fish, along with water, but i also tend to use bug grub. My question is should i give the crickets bug grub just prior to feeding them to my leo's, or just put grub in and leave for 24 hours like the rest of the...

Hey, my leos are really into their locusts, but the only issue I have is that compared to mealworms and duba roaches, the locusts just feed on the fruit and veg provided, not the dog/rabbit food mix? This means they dont take on as much protein. How do you guys do it? What do you feed your...

Those of you that keep reptiles will understand the importance of gut loading their prey well. This gut load can be used to feed crickets, roaches and locusts. I have some extra gut load that I made up for my insects that I am willing to sell on for those of you that only have one or two...

Hi everyone, I've recently become quite intimidated by the differing opinions out there on feeding various animals. I'd like to list my current feeding plans for my geckos below, and if anyone could offer their opinion that would be great. I just want to do what's best for them. Crested Gecko...

Who uses this? Do you find your lizards are fussy about what thier livefood is fed on? Do you find the livefood does well with it? I like the idea of one complete food rather than veg & water crystals but im curious to see how people have found it.

Can anyone advise me what to gut load tiny crickets, roaches etc with. Dog biscuits etc seem rather large and they don't seem to touch them preferring to feast on the pieces of veg I put in, but I'm concerned they aren't getting the right balance for feeding Ollie :whistling2: Btw I went into...

This may be a stupid thing to ask, but what else can be used to effectively gut load crickets and locusts other than bug grub and other commercial gut loading products? Oh and obviously I feed them fresh fruit/veg also.
