ok i just got a new viv stack well its soon to be here. my question is i have brought ceramic fittings for it so i can use ceramics or normal spots but should i just mount the fitting to the top of the viv or should i mount it on a piece of wood first then on viv.

My king keeps burrowing under his heat matt and I've heard that this can cause brain damage/blindness. Firstly is this true, and secondly if it is what's the best way to tape down my matt or stop him going under it??? (I've alreay tried sellotape and the thick electrical tape)

I went to ERAC show today and got a baby royal python, her viv was all prepared for her, now a few hours later her heat matt has broken. It is overheating dramatically (it was brand new also bought today), we don't have any spare ones as we ordered one last week and are waiting for it to arrive...
