So i really like wooden vivariums and how they sit and stack upon each other. Though my thoughts look to the life span of a wooden vivarium. Even with aquarium sealant around the edges inside, yacht varnish the wood all over etc. This would only give the vivarium a couple of extra years? Am i...

Whilst I realise there is a big whole in the moss hide for occupants to escape, does anyone reckon that a living substrate solely in the humid hide of an artificial snake cage would be possible? Thanks for your responses, Regards, Tom

Looking at my viv, the white paper toweling looks horrible inside the hide, so I was wondering whether there is any moss, either real or substitutes, that are safe for Boas? This is probably a simple question but I know that some plants etc are toxic so I thought it better to check first. Thanks

Heya, selling a Medium Exo Terra Waterfall as shown in this video Exoterra Waterfalls are a Great Addition to Any Reptile Habitat - YouTube (its the middle size). I was thinking about changing my BRB's setup and thought I'd see whether people prefer a bioactive setup (locally collected moss, wood etc with all sorts of bugs living in it) or a 'clean' setup?
