    Today 2 of our females molted into L7 and they are huge Here is a head-shot of one of them, it's female, right? One of the L6 (male?), felt intimidated by them and started to threaten.

    Our female molted to L5 last night. To bad we didn't see her molt. We miss it every time... She looks amazing and it keeps surprising me how much they grow each molt.

    They were supposed to arrive on Wednesday, but due to some unknown problems they arrived today.... We were afraid they would all be dead, but 10 out of 12 made it alive. We have 1.1 L4 and 10 unsexed L3. L4 male: L4 female: We will make more pictures in the morning.

    So I'm getting a few Idolomantis Diabolica soon and after their too big for fruit flies i'll move them onto waxies. Instead of the hassle of breeding them in a seperate tank, I though of putting a little hide at the bottom of the tank with the waxworm food mixture and the waxworms underneath...

    every other mantis I own stuffs its face except the Idolo , it's bad enough she's ben fasting pre-moult for ages but now that she's moulted it's been two days and she pays no attention to flies. I'd rather lose one to a mismoult than have it starve to death :censor:
