I have a juvenile Leopard Gecko and she is my first reptile.
She was looking a bit faded so I thought she might be close to sheading so gave her a little mist.
She shrieked at me and spun round so I stopped straight away, she was obviously not a fan of it.
She then walked around really slowly...
So I adopted a juvenile leopard gecko roughly a month and a half ago. I keep him in a 10 gallon terrarium with an under the tank heating pad on one side. I do not use a basking light. Also, I use repti-carpet as a substrate. There are three hiding places, one being a moist hide as well...
was just wondering what temp the hot side people tend to have their vivs at for a leopard gecko and how they get their gecko to motivated to hunt food.
i've heard blue lights can make lizards have a better temperament when it comes to eating and i've heard that reptiboost helps them...

i have a 4 month old Leopard gecko,
was wondering if the blue daylight bulb would be beneficial to him :)
in other words......will it help him shed?
and i've also heard that it can improve their behaviour towards eating?
is this true?
Hey people was just wondering if anyone had any idea why my gecko blinks alot with one eye and but when he's alert he is fine.
and also he goes off food a lot, how do I get him keen on eating regularly :)
he's bout 4 months old now, and he's really not getting any bigger and neither is his...
So, I got my little guy (or gal) on 2 Oct and was told it was 6-7 weeks old at the time and only weighed 9g (a week after I got it).
This is then:
Today is exactly 29 days since he/she first arrived and it now weighs 19g this is how gorgeous he/she is :)
