I've been debating a marine tank for a while, and I've decided to do a 2 stage approach. Start with a smaller simpler tank with easier fish to get used to marine, and later on go all out on something much bigger. I'm running out of room for more tanks at home anyway!

Hey lots, as some of you may know we are setting up our first marine aquarium, everythings doing fine till now!
We managed to get the tank last night, a 55 Gallon tank, filtration, lighting, also we popped in to get live sand, live rocks t.e caribe (caribbean), fijan were too affordable.
You can see the full standard specification of this excellent tank on the red sea website. I've made a few changes to the standard spec by replacing the skimmer with a Deltec mc500, I've also added two more blue LEDs for night viewing and a TMC blue/White aquaray bar at the front of the tank...
