so i have seen people use black rubs for snake racks, but they have cut out a square and put a perspex window, i was wondering if anyone knows how they cut the square out without the plastic snapping and also how they applied the perspex to the plastic, any replies would be great thankyou:)

Has anybody had any success with using a hot glue gun on glass?
I have an old 2.5ft clearseal aquarium and I want to use it vertically and attach a perspex front to it. Will a hot glue gun be ok to use to fix the perspex to the glass. I am aware that silicone is no good on perspex.
I've just been given 10 6x6" perspex display cubes. The only problem is that they don't have lids.

I have 3 broken glass doors on my viv stack & was wanting to replace all the glass (so it matches - finiky I know) but I was wondering if I can use clear perspex?
Have found this site, who claim the perspex is clearer than glass and stronger & only costs about £6 per door.
but is it just the frame thats aluminium or the screen as well? or is the screen cloth like a flexarium? all the description just say "super light aluminium" i was just wondering if it was solid enough if i wanted to silicone perspex on the inside?!
