peruphasma schultei

I have quite a few Peruphasma schultei that hatched last year that are well grown-on. £1 each Can post at buyer's expense. Probably around £2 for postage.

I have lots of Peruphasma Schultei nymphs (too many right now) so the majority need to go. As with most stick insects, these are very easy to look after and simply eat privet leaves. Perhaps one of the oddest looking phasmids... I can supply as many as wanted for a flat price to safely cover...

Woohoo I checked on my Peruphasma schultei stick insect today, and it has moulted to adult :D As I unscrewed the lid of the Jungle Jar, it curled it's tail and flashed those gorgeous red wings!!

Varying sizes from new hatchlings to starting to get their wing buds (2-3moults til adult, I think). Feed on privet, Lonicera sp, honeysuckle and lilac. Females get to about 7cm, males about 6cm. Warning: this species can spray a nasty liquid from glands just behind the head when agitated...

My second mature Peruphasma Schultei! The pics are a bit rubbishy because she would'nt stay still and they are surprisingly rapid! My first mature one didn't come out so well :( Poor thing can hardly even walk never mind climb, she'll live out her days alone in a small petpal in a big pile...

One of my black beauties is having a bad moult, its almost completely out but the end of its body, one of its back legs and the ends of its antennae are still stuck in and its on the floor on its back. I've gave them a little spray a few hours ago to increase the humidity a bit but its still...
