I have an 06 female normal royal, laid eggs last year and also the year before, ive had her for around 3 years, she is 2.7kg now.

Just want to know if there is any connection between male royals shedding at the start of spring/summer and there end of breeding season? As my royal did not eat till after his first shed of the summer last year and is now coming into shed now and has not eaten since september.
My 18month old Royal "Toffie" started to go into shed last Tuesday. (Only had him 8 weeks, this is 1st shed with me)
How long does it take on average for them to shed?.
"Ive got him in a Moss filled Hide"
