Hey guys! So today I acquired this rescue, she was dumbed at the vets I work at and otherwise would have been put to sleep so I couldn't help myself. Only problem is that I'm not sure what she is, my boss thinks she could be a king snake but I've not seen one with this colour, not sure about a...

Hi all, I'm currently living in Indonesia (Yogyakarta) and one of our cats caught this beautiful lizard yesterday, which fortunately doesn't seem to be harmed to bad. He was obviously in shock though so I put him in a quiet place in our back yard and now, one day later, he's sitting...

I found this in a box of crickets earlier. its a bit bigger than a large black cricket. Thought it might be a turkestan (red runner) roach, but the head just looks 'different'. Literally looks like a cricket, just bright red and a bit bigger. Anyone got any ideas.............

I received a snake not too long ago as a gift and was told she / he is an albino corn snake but after looking at picture after picture of different morphs I cannot find one even close to as stunning as she/he is. A few of her characteristics are an odd head marking, and vibrant yellow and purple...

I have a frog here that I have not been able to identify. My flourist found it mixed in with a shipment, so it could be from South America. I've been keeping it in a tank with water to swim in and rocks to sit on, and I've been feeding it crickets, but I really have no idea how to care for it...

I recently bought a box of crickets for my beardie from a local exotics shop. The crickets are stored underneath where the various tarantulas and inverts are housed. After releasing some crickets into the cage I noticed this little stowaway, while I may be being pretty dense and have an average...

Ok, so I drove for 4 hours yesterday to go to a uni open day at nottingham trent for zoology. It looks great! Before I left at about 8:30 I put a few dusted locusts in for my pair of moorish/crocodile geckos as usual. I didn't get back till about 9pm yesterday, they seemed absolutely fine...

Got this girl and she caused a big debate, was on sale as a Hog island, swapped for a mobile phone from a friend for me via her friend from the breeder. he is adamant both parents were pure Hogs and the mum was ridiculously dark. anyway she is pretty much unknown but i think she is stunning...

:welcome: Signed up to this forum as it's the only place that seemed helpful. I've looked everywhere so I don't know whether this spider is deformed or whether it's just uncommon. Photo here. http://i54.tinypic.com/ra6hp5.jpg I'm in London (not a local so it might be really common)...
