uv tubes

Hi All, I have been reading lots of horror stories about these tubes for Lizards. Is there any truth in the fact they are bad for Lizards in general.

i have just over 400 UV tubes all brand new boxed, there are 2.0 % & 5.0% made by arcadia , exo terra & zoo med... all sizes too from 15" to 42" all £10 each, will do discounts on 10+ also a load of 12" tubes but they are smaller diameter too but still propper reptile uv tubes £5 each brand new...

I have looked in various shops and on the internet and the price difference between some places is shocking. Can you recommend a place that sells UV tubes at a good price and come well packaged?
