After a worrisome week, Archimedes finally shed today (while I was out of course).

I just wanted to share some pics of him, he's still being a little skittish, but he's eaten and seems happy again now.

Shed

Shiny new skin

Realigning his jaw....but I think he looks like he's laughing!

I did post these on my other thread, so apologies if you've seen them twice.

He's laughing because you measured his skin....not realising it will be longer then he actually is because it is stretched....and he is a bit smaller then you think he is.....THAT - is why he's laughing ;)

Congrats on a full first shed : victory:

Actually, I did know that.
I was just interested about how long it was after reading that the shed is usually about 10% longer than the snake.
It's actually about an inch longer than he is.

That last pic he's definately laughing at you :lol2:

I've seen my lot yawning a few times, just never caught it on camera.

Artisan, I assumed that you were. I hadn't taken offence....I'm just glad a actually knew something!
Reading my post back, it does read a little 'short', my apologies!
I must learn to use the smilies more.

AilsaM, I love it when he yawns, always makes me smile.
Total chance catching it with the phone camera, I was trying to catch him with his tongue out.

He's a corn snake morph, anery stripe het amel diffused and hypo to be exact.
I didn't care what he was when I got him, I just think he's gorgeous!

This is a better pic of his markings, but it was taken when I first got him about 5 weeks ago, so he's grown rather a lot since then.
