After wanting an exotic pet from about the age of 5 i went for it in November last year and bought 2 wtf. I love them but they have wetted my appetite.

I've started looking into a 2nd herp and have created a shortlist:
  • 2 Firebellies (i have a spare 12" exo terra)
  • Tiger Salamanders
  • Asian Chubby Frog
If there are any others that should be on there please tell me what they are and which you'd suggest.

horned frogs are easy to care for but not very active just eats and sits there. Grey tree frogs also easy to care for but are very load if you have a male! they are nocturnel so all the noise is at night when you are trying to sleep.

I would say:

Alpine Newts (small, easy and very pretty)
Red Spotted Newts (as above but add greedy!)
Fire Salamanders (gorgeous and undemanding as long as you keep em cool)
Marbled Newts (very easy and very pretty)

.....and just so i dont seem too biased towards the caudates............. Dart Frogs (suprisingly easier to keep than is made out!):2thumb:
