Hi all, been a wile since i been in this part of the forum but i was wondering if anyone could give me a bit of advice. I'm looking in to getting another monitor, but not a beast, i have an ackie at the moment but looking to something bigger, i have a bit more time on my hands just lately and i have plenty of room to spare, i was just wondering if anyone could help along the lines of whats readily available that doesn't get huge and relatively easy to tame?
Thanks in advance : victory:
If it was me it would love a / pair of kimberlys, they are a little longer than the ackies but most of that is tail and I believe or a black tree monitor but again a little pricey
well i have a 5 x 2 x 2 viv spare so anything that would fit in that at least till i can get a bigger one but dont think i could go much bigger than a 6foot viv : victory:
Lots of monitors really.
If you do not have the space length ways for a viv, why not think about aboreal monitors? black trees, roughneck etc.
Smaller monitors tho, you could get a little group in a 6x2x2 viv.
Kimberley rocks
Ackies (red/yellow)
Gilleni
Caudo's
Tritis
Storri (not so much a group sp)
King's.
You can fit a Trio of Ackies in a 6x2x2 :lol2:
You wont get a big monitor in that size viv regardless, so might as well forget that. if thats what you had in mind?
You will be looking at a group or pair of dwarf monitors : victory:
No not at all. I'm not really up to getting any more ackies other dwarfs seem a pain to get hold of
