been watching my leo eat and noticed he always goes for the head on waxies,i guess predatory instinct tells him this is the fastest way for the kill but he doesnt do it to crix or hoppers,they get eaten however he can catch them but its always the waxies head,even if its crawling away from him he will pounch astride it and get the head,any1 else noticed this or am i really sad taking this much notice:D

mine just get em anyway they can!!! middle head bum whatever they ain't fussy! yours must just be more distinguished!:) or maybe he has better table manners than my four!:lol2:

I think you've hit the nail on teh head there.. its a predatory thing! You watch lions or anything they'll go for the vulnerable part first.. the neck... Lizards will do them same... decapitate your prey before it gets a chance to run
