I never read the snakes section or post in it but after what i saw in appelton exotics in wigan today, just thought i'd share, they had a 19ft burmese python in the largest captive bred snake in the UK so it said on the glass, next time i'm in takin the camera with me :wink:

20ft 12 stone fat female.. was about 6/7 years ago.
there was also a 22ft in the paper not so long ago.
the thing is, these people dont really know if they have the biggest...
its like me with the ice morph... its likely i am the 1st, but i may well not be.. my guess is someone got some last year.. so i wouldnt dream f saying something i couldnt prove.
and another thing, theres a lot of big snake enthusiasts out there, someones probably gonna have a bigger one... i cant see 18 being the biggest.

I have personaly seen a female tiger retic (CB) that was that big,so i doubt very much its the biggest.As nige says there are alot of big snake enthusiasts out there.....

The 19fter in appleton exotics in Wigan

Hi guys i asked the lady in the shop and the 19ft burmese eats 9 chickens and an extra large rat per feed... Pretty awesome i say... Big difference to my 5ft royals lol...
