I found this little fella in my garden today but couldnt help but notice how red he is in comparison to the other frogs I've seen is this mating colours or disease or something? Just wandered cause I didnt know, so any suggestions?

It's called erythrism and is quite common in frogs and toads- years ago I had a red cane toad. It's just a natural colour variation, but every now and then tabloid newspapers make a big deal about it in 'silly season'. I'm not sure how the genetics work, but it doesn't seem to be a dominant.
