I was looking to get some thick bamboo to fit out my viv for vertical and horizontal, it’s cheap, looks good, but is it suitable?

I know Gargoyles have less lamellae, does anyone have Gargoyles and use bamboo? Do they climb it easily especially given at times it will be wet from misting?

Not sure if cutting grooves along it would help, or I should stick to cork or oak wood.

I’d personally stick with cork or oak wood. I have tree branches in mine. They can’t even climb up the glass without falling off! Haha. That’s my opinion anyway!
