When Koko is happy and at the right temperature he goes a really nice pale sandy colour and he gets orange around his eyes (They look like sun rays) on his ears and a bit on his chin as well.

Is there an paticular name for these markings? (You can see them a bit on my profile picture.:2thumb

hey my beardie does that too all her beard goes a lovely bright orange she does it more if i have her out in the real sun or she comes out to play lol

There isn't a name for it, it's just your Dragon's natural colour. They aren't stressed so show off their lovely colours and have lovely creamy bellies!

Thanks guys!! The good thing is the heat has helped me find the temperature which he likes best. He has gone a little hyper and is attacking his thermometer but oh well! Lol. I was worried before because he had a dark belly, but now it is hotter he looks gorgeous! Need to make a note of the temperature methinks. =)

Yeah a dark belly with little lines over it are called 'stress marks' it shows they are peed off about something.

I think he was a bit too cold before, so once the hot weather is over I will be getting a higher wattage bulb for him.
