1 you dont know if there sick
2 they may die in the delivery process
3 theres often not much background info on the gecko
4 it may be advertised as M or F and be th opposite to which you ordered
there is proberly loads of other reasons, by all means buy one online if you want to there just the reasons i and many other people dont buy online, try and find a fairly local/close breeder so that you can contact them and see the geckos before you buy them and make sure there in a good condition.
in the next couple of months there will most likely be very many babie leos for sale as its entered the breeding season at the moment. i hope this has helped you if not im sorry.
If you're unable to collect the gecko in person, and that is why you're wanting to order online, you could always have a look at some of the experienced breeders on here and a courier? That way you know exactly what you're getting, and that the animal is healthy.
I would personally pay the extra to know I was getting a healthy rep.
