What exactly is orchid bark?- is it the brown damp stuff?!

Kind of yeah, it's tiny bits of dark brown bark which retain moisture really well, use it for my JCP too...

I use newspaper for all of my snakes apart from the hognoses which I would use aspen or aubiose.
