just want people to know this Boa did bite Si once...she had escaped and was cold and frightened under the stairs and struck at him.

Is currently living in her viv and showing no aggression.

always best to be honest with people. No one can ever guarantee a snake will not bite...they are snakes!!!!!

she is in a 6ft viv. as we were going to breed her with our big male.
she is prob more like 6 n a half foot. so i will say between 6 and 7ft.
very chunky girl.
eats Giant rats every sat. refuses on occasion so have now put her on every 2 weeks.
she does not strike feed. just leave it in and she takes over night.

I'd love to get her, but too far away. By the way, has she been probed as female ? If you don't mind me asking, why are you letting her go, because female boas are normally a lot more sought after than males, and you said you've got a big male.

a chap came round...said he didnt need to use the probe...def female.
unsure of age...sorry.
getting rid as i said earlier in thread...i am afraid of her. my other half would keep her and breed her with our male...but since she escaped it has scared me of her, although i can go in viv, do water, clean mess etc..no probs.
Plus we need to down size collection. He does not have as much time as he use to to handle them, hense some are up for sale. much to his dissaproval!
