Hey, I'm currently setting up a bio-active Terrarium, I'm currently waiting on a few essentials before I put any froggo's in there. So anyways I was wondering what kind of frog I could comfortably house in here? I was thinking Red Eye Tree Frog but I want to be 100% sure that this the appropriate setup before I make a decision.
Here's a list of what I'm using for this set-up:
  • 30 x 30 x 45 cm (12 x 12 x 18 inches) Exo-Terra.
  • 2 x Thermometers.
  • 1 x Hygrometer.
  • 7 Watt Heatmat (upgrade may be necessary?).
  • Usual Substrate and Drainage ect.
  • 1 x Boston Fern.
  • 1 x Ficus Pumila.
  • Cork wood.
  • Springtails.
Things to come:
  • 13 W 5.0 UVB Light.
  • 20 cm Exo-Terra Canopy Top.
  • 100 W Thermostat.
Some pictures of the setup as it is.

I'm not an expert, lel.

I've seen people with this *kind* of setup and everything, and it looks like something a poison dart frog would use, so they would probably be pretty comfortable in there if you made that decision. Then again, tree frogs are a pretty good choice too. I have a tiny one, lel, and he likes to try and hide himself on long sticks I put in there for him more often than on the plants.

Which ever decision you make will be great, I'm sure! Stay safe, and good luck!
