The general 'rule of thumb' is for females to be 3 foot long, 3 years old and 300 grams, but males can breed from as young as a year old and around 150g. A lot of people do breed females at slightly less than 300g as long as they're healthy and have good muscle tone, but personally I probably won't breed any of my females until they are at least 250g and I know they're healthy enough to breed.
