Viv building

not really sure, I built a 2',1',1' viv out of old veneered chipboard I had lying round for a quick fix to a problem, I used wood screws that had about 15mm of screw after top piece. Just drilled hole big enough for screw to fit through then screwed it in the rest. Result; not professional but safe as houses. Don't know how to upload pic to show you.Hope dis helps.

I use 15MM mdf. I used size 6 1.25" chipboard screws. I used 2 sizes of drill bits for the pilot holes. The bit was a bit smaller than the screw shank for the top bit (size 4 I think) and very small (size 2) for the rest. Also used a countersink so the head went in nicely.
You will probably need to go a bit bigger for 18MM. I guess iguanas are quite rough with their vivs?
