Just bought a Male JCP. See pics:

I was actually looking for a female but couldn't find one so settled for this little guy.

Anyway I have just seen an advert for a female here under classifieds:

The one advertised is a JCP x Irian Jaya, but looks just like mine.

Can anybody confirm they are different or is it not possible at suchg a young age??

I was considering returning my male to buy the female. I will certainly do the swap if mine is not a pure JCP.

Only reason for my swap is that I wanted a bigger snake than a male JCP.

You can imagine the swearing that went on once I saw the ad after looking for a few weeks to find one close or closeish and settling for a male.

Any help appreciated

It there a great difference between a male and female JCP in weight and length???

I imagined a female to be around 30% heavier than a male.

Yes there is a difference in length and girth a female is usualy larger.

I can confirm they are different yours looks a good pure JCP looking at the JCP xIJ you can see the red/brown coming in, a JCP is usually Yellow & black they can also be White & Black. The IJCP is nice though.
