Hi, I'm Robin and I was wondering if I could use my old fish tank as a vivarium for a leopard gecko?
I own a 70-liter fish tank in perfect condition but I no longer have fish for it and was interested in getting a leopard gecko. The dimensions of the tank are 56cm x 30cm x 42cm. If not I'll look into buying a proper vivarium I just didn't want to waste a perfectly good tank if it is usable.
Another question is if it is suitable would I need to get another lid for it?
Currently, it has a plastic lid but my frog terrarium has a mesh lid and I was wondering if the leopard gecko would need the same?

Not unless you're in the USA!

It would be better housed in a wooden vivarium 3'/90cm is more appropriate. There have been a lot of leopard gecko questions lately so worth going back through posts in this section.
